While experts predict a decrease in home prices across Canada, the opposite is happening in Quebec, especially in Montreal where prices have skyrocketed in recent months.
Over the short term, there is no reason for prices to drop. But in the longer term, it’s still hard to predict.
My professional advice: ask yourself if your income is stable (possibility of job loss, stable work industry, etc.). If your medium-term outlook is looking fairly positive, the possibilities of a positive outcome should encourage you to take the plunge.
